Who Is Karen Weir?

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Karen Weir, I am 44 years young and live with my husband and our two children, Kory (8) and Kiley (7) in Alberta Canada. We live about an hour north of the city of Edmonton in a small town with a population of about 5000. My husband Keith and I met and married in Fort McMurray Alberta (way up north) where we were both employed by our Provincial Government as Child Protection Social Workers. Keith and I each have a daughter from a previous marriage.

When we married, we also decided to start a new family together. My daughter Kristy, was just a few months shy of her 18th birthday, and Keith's daughter Maria was approaching her 15th, when our son Kory was born in March 1998. Our baby, Kiley was born 16 months after brother in August 1999. When Kiley was 10 days old, we left Fort McMurray and moved a few hours south.

This one deserves some special mention. This future hockey of hall of famer is my grandson, Travis. Travis is 11 months younger than his aunt, my baby, Kiley.
