Welcome to Ron Smalley's Watercolor Class "Paint Better Pictures" at the Old Fire House Art Center in Longmont, Colorado.
We will meet Saturday mornings for six two-hour sessions starting on August 6, 2011 and continue as long as there is interest.
We will start at 10 AM and go until noon. Two hour sessions, each day.
I have been painting for about 43 years and have been teaching watercolor students for about
twelve years. I love to see my students submit winning entries to watercolor shows.
My paintings have been winning awards and my paintings have found new homes from
Maryland to California.
"We learn to paint by painting and not by reading books or watching other people paint or
going to art shows and galleries to look at paintings. Doing all the other things
is helpful and informative but we learn to paint by painting - sometimes failing - but never by giving up!

The fee for the six classes is $20 per session.
Class is limited to the first ten members who apply due to space limitations at the Old Fire House.
Class will start promptly at 10 AM and end at Noon.
